Welcome Mr. Elliott!
On October 5th, Mr. George Elliott stepped up to become All Saints’ Interim Principal. Mr. Elliott comes to us with over 22 years of experience as a Catholic school administrator in the Diocese of Arlington. He most recently served as the Interim Principal at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic School during the 2020-2021 school year, where he successfully led the school through the height of the COVID pandemic. Mr. Elliott addressed the student body at Mass–including presenting student of the month awards–and has met with the PTO and the Advisory Board. During his first full day, he along with the staff and faculty planted bulbs in the garden under St. Francis as a symbol of “new beginnings.” Welcome Mr. Elliott!
On September 24, Superintendent Kelly Lazzara informed the All Saints community that Mr. Kelleher had given his resignation, effective October 1. Subsequently, Mr. Kelleher noted that he will be returning to the family business, Kelleher Heating, Cooling, Plumbing, Electrical. We thank him for his service to the school and wish him well. Mr. Sidney Bragg, School Advisory Board Chair and the superintendent conducted interviews and hired Interim principal, Mr. Elliott, to serve out the remainder of this school year. A search for a new principal will begin in December.
